This is our process:
I. Pay the Creative Fee.
Pay Creative Fee/Retainer of $115 via an invoice that will be sent once you decide to book. This is due at the time of booking to secure your spot and is strictly for the time and talent of the photographer. **No products or digital images are included in the Creative Fee/Retainer.**
II. Plan & Photograph.
We will gather information via an online questionnaire. This will help us to get to know your family and what you envision your session to be like. We will determine a location during this step as well. Once everything is planned, it's time to shoot your session! This is the fun part!
III. Deliver Memories.
An online Proofing Gallery will be delivered within two weeks to your email. You will get to view your images and choose the Collection (options listed below) that you would like to invest in. Instructions on how to choose your images will be included in your Proofing Gallery. Once this is completed, an invoice will be sent within 48 hours. Once the invoice is paid, your chosen images will be released within 48 hours for you to download with a PIN.

FAQ
Where are you based and do you travel?
Megan Lathem Photography is located in Madison, Alabama, and serves the surrounding areas. Travel fees may be an additional cost if over 30 miles from my location.
Occasionally, MLP is in her home town in West Virginia and will offer sessions there if possible.
What locations are available to take photos?
Included in the packages is a 30 mile radius round trip from zip code area 35756 unless noted in the advertisement. If outside the 30 mile radius, additional travel fees may apply.
MLP offers a Location Guide if needed to see examples of past photo session locations. The link is below in the footer of this website. You will need a password to access it. Please contact me.
How many pictures will we receive?
The number of images is based on the Collection you choose to invest in. The minimum investment is $215 (+tax).
MLP chooses the best images that is included in your Proofing Gallery. You will receive a proofing gallery within 2 weeks from your session date. Your proofing gallery will be available for 7 days for you to choose your images based on the collection you decide to invest in.
All images are edited (blemishes, lighting, background noise, etc.). MLP does not edit things like tattoos, body shapes, etc. as a standard practice. These edits can be done for an additional fee of $40/image and would require a longer timeframe to receive the images.
When will we get our photos?
Lead time is usually two weeks from the date of the session. If it is the busy season (fall), then it may take longer. MLP will notify you of any changes if longer than two weeks.
How will I receive my images?
MLP delivers all finished galleries via an online gallery with high resolution images. These *must* be downloaded to your home computer then sent to your printer of choice. You will have a 30 day online gallery.
Please do not download images to your phone or screenshot the images. The quality will suffer!!!
